Save the fonts, sticker placement, and the wild rose motif on the Alberta plate, Massachusetts and Alberta have almost the same exact license plate.

Alberta was 3 years earlier than Mass with the plate design (1984 v 1987)

DAMNIT MASSACHUSETTS, STOP STEALING LICENSE PLATE DESIGNS.

Quite a few US plates that look like Canadian plates (and/or vice-versa). Especially in the Midwest it seems like there are a whole bunch with the same blue-on-white that Ontario has.

This was after they stole New Hampshire’s plates - you know, our NEIGHBORING STATE!

It doesn’t come through very well in the pics, but both plates are almost the same shade of green.
